Sherry Ruth Moore, age 68, of London, Kentucky passed away on Saturday, June 6, 2026. She leaves behind her loving husband of 46 years, Glenn A. Moore Sr; three children, Jason Bowmar Moore & husband Vernon of Richmond, KY, Nicole Moore & husband Wes of London, KY, Glenn Moore Jr. & wife Christina of London, KY; two siblings, Jill Kirk & husband John, Colin Turvey, both of Mississippi; seven grandchildren, Arielle Clinton, Austin Clinton, Kinley Clinton, Taylor Moore, Shane Arthur Moore, Charlee Moore, Myles Moore; her good friend, Linda Storm; plus many nieces, nephews and other family and friends to cherish her memory. She was preceded in death by her parents, Adam Tom Overbay & Barbara Sue Wilson Overbay; her stepfather, Douglas Turvey; her stepmother, Norma Overbay; and by three siblings, Wayne Overbay, Cynthia Miller, Roxanne Overbay. Sherry Moore, a woman whose smile could brighten any room and whose caring heart touched countless lives, passed away surrounded by the love of her family and friends. Sherry worked for Stidham Cabinets and was a faithful attendee of The Creek Church. She was also a cherished member of the IGOT Community in London, where her kindness, encouragement, and joyful spirit made a lasting impact on those around her. Known for always being on the go, Sherry embraced life with enthusiasm and energy. There was never a dull moment when she was around. She loved camping, creating memories with family and friends, and spending precious time with her grandchildren, who brought her immeasurable joy. Whether she was coloring, working on diamond art projects, or planning her next adventure, Sherry found happiness in life's simple pleasures. Her family and friendships meant everything to her. She had a remarkable way of making others feel loved and valued, and her caring nature was evident in every aspect of her life. Sherry's warm smile, compassionate heart, and zest for life will be deeply missed by all who knew her. Though her presence will be greatly missed, the memories she created, the laughter she shared, and the love she gave so freely will continue to live on in the hearts of those blessed to know her. Her life was a beautiful reflection of joy, friendship, faith, and unwavering love for her family. A funeral service honoring Sherry Ruth Moore will be held on Thursday, June 11, 2026 at 1:00 p.m. in the chapel of House-Rawlings Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Dunn Cemetery in London, Kentucky. The family will receive friends on Thursday beginning at 11:00 a.m. until the funeral hour, also at the funeral home. The pallbearers will be Jason Bowmar, Glenn Moore Jr, Wes Clinton, Austin Clinton, Shane Moore and Amanda Patton. The family has entrusted House-Rawlings Funeral Home with the arrangements.
