Kinna Lou Cathers

Kinna Lou Cathers, age 49, of East Bernstadt, Kentucky departed this life on Saturday, January 11, 2020 where she stepped into eternal rest with her Heavenly Father. She leaves behind her parents, Kenneth Cathers & Wanda Sargent Cathers, two daughters Kindra Cole & husband Darin, Amanda Robinson & husband Josh; two brothers, Roy Cathers & wife Judy, Lane Cathers & wife Linda; two granddaughters, Ezra Dean Robinson, Armina Kinsley Cole; plus, a host of other family and friends to mourn her passing. Kinna Lou Cathers was a member of Omega Worship Center in London, Ky. Her greatest love was JESUS Christ and if you spent much time with her it didn’t take long to figure that out. She loved her church and volunteered a lot of her time for special events. Kinna was a selfless person with compassion and love for all people. She was always willing to help others and never met a stranger. She loved her animals, had a passion for worship music, enjoyed spending time gardening and being outdoors. What made her most happy was being called “Nana.” Spending time with her grandchildren, Ezra and Armina was the highlight of her days. She often stated that her children and grandchildren was her life and greatest accomplishments. She was very proud of them. She had a great love for her parents as well. Kinna had a fun-loving free spirit with a laugh that was contagious. She had a very outgoing personality, very funny and amusing. She had a way of filling you with laughter even on your worst day. She enjoyed family dinners, being with friends, telling stories about her daughters and the pranks she would pull on them during school years. Kinna will be dearly missed by so many, but her memory will live on through the hearts of those who loved her. Although we are mournful, we need to rejoice and be happy for her because her soul is forever with her first love, our heavenly father! Let’s celebrate her Home!!!!!!! Funeral Services for Kinna Lou Cathers will be held on Saturday, January 18, 2020 at 12:00 pm in the chapel of House-Rawlings Funeral Home with Darin Cole & Josh Robinson officiating. Burial will follow at the Christ Memorial Family Cemetery in East Bernstadt, KY. The family will receive friends on Saturday, January 18, 2020 beginning at 10:00 am until the funeral hour also at the funeral home. The family has entrusted House-Rawlings Funeral Home with the arrangements.
