James Bentley Sizemore II

James Bentley Sizemore II, age 75, of Lily, Kentucky passed away on Saturday, June 10, 2023. He leaves behind his loving wife of 56 years, Allene Hensley Sizemore; six children, Kevin Sizemore & wife Kristy of London, KY, Jeffery Sizemore & wife Amber of Keavy, KY, and Roger Sizemore I, Keana Sizemore Morgan & husband Jaydin, Roger Sizemore II & fiance Taylor, Dustin Sizemore, all of London, KY; seventeen grandchildren, Rachel Stephens & husband Johnny, Harley Sizemore, Siara Sizemore & Trey, Garrett Sizemore & fiance Mariann, Tristan Sizemore & Tyler, Makayla Clark & husband Brandon, Taylor Chase & husband Ethan, Savannah Sizemore, Destony Sizemore & Justin, Breanna Warren & husband Roger, Cheyenne Rainey, Jessilyn Rainey & Billy, Alyssa Sizemore, Samuel Sizemore, Isaiah Sizemore, Oaklee Morgan, Emersyn Sizemore; nine great grandchildren, Noah Reed, Bryson Collier, Kinsley Clark, Alayah Merritt, Everleigh Partin, Weston Clark, Adalee Warren, Adalyn Partin, Brynlee Partin; plus a host of other family and friends to mourn his passing. He was preceded in death by his parents, James Bentley and Avogene Stanifer Sizemore; his son, James Bentley Sizemore III, his grandson, James Bentley Sizemore IV, and by two sisters, Sandy Parman, Geraldine Sizemore. James worked for Flowers Bakery for 37 years where he was a supervisor. He also served our country in the United States Army where he was a Drill Sergeant. He was a faithful member of Campground Pentecostal Church where he was an adult Sunday School teacher. He loved his church family and his own family and grandchildren very much. James would do anything for anyone. He loved to comment on Facebook posts and encourage people. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, June 13, 2023 beginning at 1:00 p.m. in the chapel of House-Rawlings Funeral Home with Jerry Laudermilk and Mike Dixon officiating. Burial will follow at the Parman/Sizemore Cemetery in London, Kentucky. Military honors will be provided by the local DAV Chapter 158 of Keavy, Kentucky. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, June 13, 2023 beginning at 12:00 p.m. until the funeral hour, also at the funeral home. The family has entrusted House-Rawlings Funeral Home with the arrangements.
