Jack Engle, age 63, of London, Kentucky passed away on Friday, March 22, 2024. He leaves behind his loving wife, Patsy “Susie” Miller Engle; his stepfather, James “Blue” Smith; eight children, Barry Robinson & wife Kim of East Bernstadt, KY, Jack Daniel Engle & wife Somer of Gratis, OH, Chad Robinson & wife Candice of London, KY, Charli Kimberlin & husband Allen of Gratis, OH, Joshua Engle & wife Lindsay of Middletown, OH, Kyle Robinson & wife Kelly of East Bernstadt, KY, Tonya Spencer & husband Christopher of Loveland, OH, John Carey & wife Holly of Cincinnati, OH; one brother, Delbert Engle Jr. & wife Marlene of East Bernstadt, KY; grandchildren, Kolten, Taylin, Triston, Audrey, Brooklynn, Taylor, Brennan, Benjamin, Ashton & husband Trent, Allie & husband Khris, Caden, Carli, Cooper, Carter, Skyler, Bailey, Miles, Camren, Myles; one great grandchild, Jude; beloved friends who he loved like brothers, Kenny Peace, Nathan Grills; plus a host of other family and friends to mourn his passing. He was preceded in death by his parents, Delbert Engle & Mae Lawson Smith; and by three siblings, Clayton Engle, Amos Engle, Kay Engle. Jack was known for his adventurous nature and passion for the outdoors. He found solace in the tranquility of nature, whether it was casting a line while fishing, tracking game during hunting expeditions, or exhilarating ATV rides through rugged terrain. Jack's love for shooting guns was not merely a hobby but a testament to his appreciation for skill and precision. In addition to his adventurous pursuits, Jack had an innate sense of adventure that led him to explore various destinations near and far. He cherished every moment spent discovering new places and vacationing with family. Jack's entrepreneurial spirit was evident throughout his life as he pursued various ventures with determination and creativity. His dedication to his work was matched only by his commitment to his family. He was a pillar of strength and support, always ready to lend a helping hand or an encouraging word. Above all, Jack will be remembered for his infectious laughter and his ability to brighten any room with his presence. He cherished moments spent with loved ones, sharing stories, and creating lasting memories. Jack loved the Lord, and was grateful even in the struggle. He thanked God every day for all his blessings. His love for life and people was evident to all who knew him, and his legacy will continue to inspire those whose lives he touched. Funeral services honoring Jack Engle will be held on Monday, March 25, 2024 at 1:00 p.m. in the chapel of House-Rawlings Funeral Home with Barry Robinson and Wayne House officiating. Burial will follow at Candle Ridge Cemetery in Gray, Kentucky. The family will receive friends on Monday, March 25, 2024 beginning at 11:00 a.m. until the funeral hour, also at the funeral home. The family has entrusted House-Rawlings Funeral Home with the arrangements.
