Edna Pearl Blair, age 77, of London, Kentucky passed away on Monday, March 4, 2024. She leaves behind her husband of 59 years, Tommy Blair Sr; five children, Tommy Blair Jr. of Manchester, KY, Mark Blair & wife Bridget of London, KY, Troy Blair & wife Donna of Pittsburg, KY, Melissa Melton & husband Ray of London, KY, Jamie Blair & wife Ashley of East Bernstadt, KY; three sisters, Carol Gill, Myrtle Spivey, Doris Leuellen; eight grandchildren, Tyler Craig, Jessica Blair Combs, Travis Blair, Joshua Blair, Brooke Melton, Thomas Melton, Emily Melton, Liam Blair; three great grandchildren, Camden Craig, Payton Blair, Kiara Blair; plus a host of other family and friends to mourn her passing. She was preceded in death by her parents, Raymond McDaniel & Marie Southard; and by four siblings, Junior McDaniel, Carl Edward McDaniel, Bill Butcher, Paul Butcher. Edna found profound fulfillment in her roles as a caregiver and nurturer. She dedicated herself wholeheartedly to her family, finding immense joy in the time spent with her children and grandchildren. Her unwavering love and support created a foundation of strength and warmth for her loved ones. A devout member of the Circle of Faith Holiness Church, Edna found solace and inspiration in her faith. She delighted in attending church services, where she found comfort and guidance in the teachings of the Bible. Her deep spirituality was a guiding light throughout her life, shaping her actions and relationships. In addition to her faith, Edna had a passion for the simple pleasures of life. She adored her dogs, Scooby and Fred, who brought her companionship and joy each day. Edna also found happiness in the tranquility of nature, enjoying camping trips, fishing excursions, and the occasional treasure hunt at yard sales. Funeral services for Edna Pearl Blair will be held on Thursday, March 7, 2024 at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of House-Rawlings Funeral Home with Sammy Trosper officiating. Burial will follow at Pittsburg Cemetery in London, Kentucky. The pallbearers will be Mark Blair, Troy Blair, Jamie Blair, Joshua Blair, Travis Blair and Tyler Combs. Honorary pallbearers are her sisters, Myrtle Spivey, Carol Gill and Doris Leuellen. The family will receive friends on Thursday, March 7, 2024 beginning at 12:00 p.m. until the funeral hour also at the funeral home. The family has entrusted House-Rawlings Funeral Home with the arrangements.
