Darrell Wayne Hale also known as GEAR JAMMER went to his Heavenly home being 60 years old. He is survived by his wife of 26 years and 10 days, Sherry Hale of London, KY; his four Sons, Darrell Hale Jr. (Vera), Felix Hale (Tamira), Jeffrey Allan Hill, Jayce Hill; three daughters, Jessica Wagers, Christy Mills (Charles), Precious Faith Hale; his grandchildren, Cheyenna, Blake, Connor, Haley, Makyla, Ashlee, Cage, Liam, Jasmine, Aaliyah, Tristan, Elijah, Amira, and Silas; his great grandchildren, Grace, Taylor, Mason, Jackson, Lilith, and Waylon; his sisters, Kathy Smith & Wanda Lewis; one brother, Felix Hale; three sisters-in-law, Cosetta Hale, Shannon Hamblin, Robin Fox; and a host of other family and friends to mourn his passing. He is preceded in death by one child, LaShanna Michelle Hale; three grandchildren, Ava Nicole Hale, Taylor Hale, Christian Riley Wagers; his mother, Hazel Hale; his father, William Hale; his brother, Matt Hale; his brothers-in-law, Jimmy Smith, SM Lewis, Cecil Buck Hamblin, Herschel Lawson, Eugene Lawson, his sisters-in-laws, Flonnie Hale, Sheila Powell Powers; his son-in-law, Michael Wagers; his mother and father-in-law, Henry & Arizona Carter Fox. He treated his in laws same as his bloodline. He went above and beyond the call for any and for all. He loved his wife and was the most faithful and generous man on Earth. She wanted everyone to know Darrell met needs far above and beyond and met every want she ever had. Darrell was an incredible man. He was the most generous person around. He helped countless people. He was a gentle man who loved his wife, kids, grandkids, great grandkids, and the rest of his family and friends. He loved the people that society didn't. He loved broken people and helped them anyway he could. He was a very generous person who loved to give. He was a successful business man. He was the owner of Hale Brothers Auto Sales for 31 years, Faith Trucking for 18 years and Jam Co. Electronics for 36 years. He was known for his honesty and integrity in deals. He enjoyed buying and selling classic cars. He won many trophies in car shows. He enjoyed CB radios. He went by the handle GEAR JAMMER. He loved Rod Runs and loved buying and selling classic and hotrod cars. He loved demolition derbies and was successful in those, as well. He loved bears and cades cove, as well as the beach. He loved animals and had horses for years. You could always catch him with an RC cola in his hand. Darrell departed this life at Baptist Health Corbin, where he passed away from complications due to bowel issues, diabetes, amongst other health issues. It was his wish that everyone take care of themselves. He fought a fight like no other, and now he is at peace with our loved ones and Lord and Savior. Darrell passed away peacefully with his loving family by his side. He loved his family, friends, the Lord, the broken and rejected. He was a wonderful man and will be missed greatly until we see him again. If Darrell could speak to anyone today, he would ask them to get saved so that they can go to Heaven one day, too. The family will accept friends beginning at 3:00 pm on Sunday, May 19, 2024 at House-Rawlings Funeral Home in London, Kentucky. The funeral service will be at 5:00 pm. Burial will follow at Taylor Cemetery in Blackwater, Kentucky. Officiating will be Reverend David Lawson, Reverend James "Tiny" Isom, Reverend Frankie Hackler. Pallbearers will be: Preceding and lead by his son, Jayce Hill and daughter Precious Hale; His sons Darrell Hale Jr., Felix Hale, Jeffrey Allan Hill; Grandsons Connor Hale, Blake Krossber; and nephew Trey Harp. Honorary pallbearers leading procession behind are his kids and grandkids. Other honorary pallbearers a host of family friends. Special Pallbearers: Don and June Pickard, whom he loved with all his heart & Pickard Chryslers and Tincher Williams former employees. Gary & David Sears Motors, H&W and Rush Auto Sales. Sue and Trish from KY Auto Auction and a host of others auto dealers as well his CB friends. The family would like to thank everyone for their love and support during this difficult time.
