Cammie McQueen Creech, age 54 of London, Kentucky, and a beloved receptionist at Paws and Claws for 12 years, passed away on Sunday, April 21, 2024. She was a dedicated professional who brought joy to countless pets and their owners with her compassionate heart. She leaves behind her husband, Jack W. Creech Jr.; three children, Brandon Allen & wife April of Nicholasville, KY, Leshae Allen of London, Ky, Jaclyn Blevins & husband Josh of East Bernstadt, KY; three siblings, Tina Scott & husband Larry, Lisa McQueen, Terri McQueen, all of East Bernstadt, KY; seven grandchildren, Aubrey Owens, Grayson Allen, Omi Grace Allen, Brayden Purdue, Chase Purdue, Kassie Blevins, Kaylee Blevins; her nephew, Travis Fugate of Columbus, OH; her sisters-in law, Tina Pell, Pam Cox, Cathy Creech, all of London, KY; her friend, Karen Whitaker of London, KY; her Paws and Claws family, April Elza, Diana Elza, Jesse Campbell, Miranda Miller, Makayla Caldwell; plus a host of other family and friends to mourn her passing. She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles Edward and Nellie Marie Hicks McQueen; and by her grandparents, Mollie and Ebb Hicks. Cammie's love for animals extended beyond her work, as she found solace and fulfillment in nurturing them. Her gentle touch and caring nature made her a cherished figure in the community, leaving a lasting impact on all who knew her. In addition to her passion for animals, Cammie had a green thumb and took delight in planting and tending to her garden. She found beauty and serenity in watching her plants bloom, creating a peaceful oasis for herself and others to enjoy. Among Cammie's many loves were hummingbirds, whose graceful presence brought her endless delight. She found joy in observing these delicate creatures, finding inspiration in their resilience and beauty. Above all, Cammie cherished her family, especially her grandkids, who brought her immense joy and pride. Her love for them knew no bounds, and she cherished every moment spent in their company. Cammie's faith was a cornerstone of her life, and she found comfort and strength in her relationship with the Lord. Her unwavering faith guided her through life's challenges and enriched her with a profound sense of purpose and gratitude. Funeral services for Cammie McQueen Creech will be held on Thursday, April 25, 2024 at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of House-Rawlings Funeral Home with Sam Grigsby and Brandon Allen officiating. Burial will follow at Upper Colony Cemetery in London, Kentucky. The pallbearers will be Jack Creech, Brandon Allen, Jason Hicks, Larry Scott, Jesse Campbell and Dennis Turner. The family will receive friends on Thursday, April 25, 2024 beginning at 12:00 p.m. until the funeral hour also at the funeral home. The family has entrusted House-Rawlings Funeral Home with the arrangements.
