Woodrow Asher Jr.

Woodrow Asher Jr., age 69, of London, KY passed away on Saturday, February 19, 2022. He leaves behind eight children, Ronnie Wayne Jones, Sheila Davenport, Junior Asher, Rebecca Reams-Williams, Michael Asher, Tyler Rohr, Christy Phann, Woody Asher; two boys that he raised as his own, Josh and Jade Caldwell; two brothers, Larry Asher, Earl Asher, both of Dayton, OH, plus a host of grandchildren, great and great, great grandchildren. He also leaves many nieces and nephews and other family and friends to mourn his passing. He was preceded in death by his parents, Woodrow Asher Sr. and Cora Collins Asher. Woodrow was a retired truck driver and also owned his own auto mechanic and body shop. He enjoyed motorcycles and fast classic cars, especially Corvettes. If it was loud and ran well, he liked it. He especially enjoyed drag racing. Woodrow was well liked by many people, and he cared a lot about his family. Funeral services for Woodrow Asher Jr. will be held on Thursday, February 24, 2022 at 1:00 p.m. at the Asher Cemetery in London, Kentucky with Sister Jeanne Elkins Baker officiating. Burial will follow the service. The family will meet at House-Rawlings Funeral Home at 12:30 p.m. for a processional to the cemetery. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, February 23, 2022 beginning at 6:00 p.m. in the chapel of House-Rawlings Funeral Home. The family has entrusted House-Rawlings Funeral Home with the arrangements.
