Wilma Lee Philpot, age 72, of London, Kentucky passed away on Wednesday, January 19, 2022. She leaves behind her husband, Dan Philpot; one son, Gary Philpot & wife Tamara of London, KY; seven siblings, Ella Bush & husband Jessie, Sadie Henson & husband Woodrow, Ruby Henson & husband Leroy, Frank Hubbard & wife Fanny, Henry Hubbard Jr., Wilburn Hubbard, all of Manchester, Ky, and Willie Hubbard & wife Mable of London, KY; three grandchildren, Treston Philpot & wife Phebia, Jaslyn Philpot, Shelbie Philpot; two great grandchildren, Samuel Philpot, Bailey Philpot, plus a host of other family and friends to mourn her passing. She was preceded in death by her parents, Henry and Lula Smith Hubbard; and by four siblings, Doshia Hubbard, Lida Brumly, Allie Wombles, Wilma Jean Davidson. Wilma was a homemaker and of the Pentecostal faith. She loved to garden and spend time with her grandkids. Wilma and Dan enjoyed going to flea markets on weekends, and they also liked to buy and sell at farmer’s markets. Funeral services for Wilma Lee Philpot will be held on Sunday, January 23, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of House-Rawlings Funeral Home with Phillip Proffitt and Jerry Laudermilk officiating. Burial will follow at New Salem Cemetery in London, KY. The family will receive friends on Saturday, January 22, 2022 beginning at 6:00 p.m. also at the funeral home.
