Theo Lewis

Theo Lewis, age 78, of London, Kentucky passed away on Sunday, February 6, 2022. He leaves behind his loving wife of 56 years, Doris Earley Lewis; three children, Robert Lewis & wife Denise, Carolyn Baker & husband Kevin, Doug Lewis, all of London, KY; three siblings, Betty Jones, Raymond Lewis & wife Barbara, Ulysses Lewis, all of London, KY; seven grandchildren; nine great grandchildren, plus a host of other family and friends to mourn his passing. He was preceded in death by his parents, Raymond & Gladys Howard Lewis; and by four siblings, Ed Lewis, Lawrence Lewis, James Lewis, Katie Couch. Theo was retired having worked in construction. He was a faithful member of Hart Baptist Church where he served as Deacon and Brotherhood Director. He was a member of Woodmen Life, an outreach where he helped build ramps for the disabled. Theo also volunteered in the food ministry at church, and cooked for the Brotherhood once a month. He loved to go crappie fishing. Funeral services for Theo Lewis will be held on Friday, February 11, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of House-Rawlings Funeral Home with Jonathon Gregory, Terrell Bradley and Gary Messer officiating. Burial will follow at Lickliter Cemetery in Campground, KY. The family will receive friends on Thursday, February 10, 2022 beginning at 6:00 p.m. also at the funeral home. The family has entrusted House-Rawlings Funeral Home with the arrangements.
