Martha Smith, age 86, of London, Kentucky passed away on Monday, April 5, 2021. She leaves behind seven children, Linda Cobb & husband John of Spring Hill, TN, Sandra McCurdy & husband Arnie of Belleville, MI, Sherry Smith of London, KY, Cindy Garris & husband Jeff of Georgetown, KY, Beverly Kirby & husband Troy of London, KY, Gary Smith & wife Imalene of London, KY, Jennifer Hayre & husband Keith of London, KY; seventeen grandchildren; seventeen great grandchildren, plus a host of other family and friends to mourn her passing. She was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth Smith; her parents, Lee Bearse and Jimmie Truett Bearse; two sisters, Mary Ward and Helen Boik; and by her son-in-law, Alan Smith, Jr. Martha was a homemaker and a member of Shady Grove Baptist Church. She loved bowling and spending time with her family. Funeral services for Martha Smith will be held on Saturday, April 10, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of House-Rawlings Funeral Home with Bro. David Smith and Bro. Trent Pool officiating. Burial will follow at Freedom Cemetery in London, Kentucky. The family will receive friends on Friday, April 9, 2021 beginning at 6:00 p.m. also at the funeral home. The family has entrusted House-Rawlings Funeral Home with the arrangements.
