Margaret Rader Allen

Margaret Rader Allen, age 95, of Corbin, Kentucky passed away on Saturday, April 30, 2022. She leaves behind four children, Charlotte M. Platt of Corbin, KY, Darrell S. Allen & wife Donna of Corbin, KY, Pam Reams & husband Darrell of London, KY, C. Raymond Allen of Corbin, KY; a daughter-in-law, Alma Allen; eleven grandchildren, Gail Browning, Jeremy Platt, Tammy Ramalho, Jennifer Deaton, Callie McWhorter, Stephanie Dowell, Rylan Allen, Travis Reams, Paige Allen, Dawson Allen, Emily Allen; sixteen great grandchildren, plus a host of other family and friends to mourn her passing. She was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond Charlie Allen; her parents, Carlo M. and Callie Turner Rader; and by one son, Dwight Charles Allen. Margaret was a homemaker and a member of McWhorter Christian Church in McWhorter, Kentucky. She enjoyed quilting and spending time with her family. Margaret was dedicated to her family and loved being a grandmother. She worked side-by-side with Raymond for many years on the family farm. Funeral services for Margaret Rader Allen will be held on Tuesday, May 3, 2022 at 1:00 p.m. in the chapel of House-Rawlings Funeral Home with Rylan Allen officiating. Burial will follow at Wiggington Cemetery in London, Kentucky. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, May 3, 2022 beginning at 12:00 p.m. until the funeral hour also at the funeral home. The family has entrusted House-Rawlings Funeral Home with the arrangements.
