Manuel Marnell Hoskins Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Manuel Marnell Hoskins was born on December 20, 1942 to the late Manuel and Nannie Mae (Gregory) Hoskins. He went to be with the Lord on July 25, 2022. Marnell was united in marriage to Jean Fields on March 21, 1964. He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Gene Hoskins. Marnell is survived by his loving wife of 58 years, Jean; one sister, Lisa Gail Abner & husband Taylor; one brother, Murrell “Bo” Hoskins; one special aunt, Julia “Judy” Hoskins; three special niece, one special nephew, as well as other nieces and nephews. Marnell was a 43-year member of Blackwater United Baptist Church. He was retired from the Laurel County Road Department. He also helped in establishing the Bush Volunteer Fire Department. He departed this life being aged 79 years, 7 months and 5 days. Funeral services for Manuel Marnell Hoskins will be held on Saturday, July 30, 2022 at 2:00 pm in the chapel of House-Rawlings Funeral Home with Terry Roberts and Michael Hampton officiating. The family will receive friends on Saturday, July 30, 2022 beginning at 11:30 am until the funeral hour also at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be Jarred Nantz, Bass Bailey, Brayden Pittman, Chase Abner, Lynn Fields, Boyd Fields, Rick Asher. The family has entrusted House-Rawlings Funeral Home with the arrangements.
