Joyce Helton Hillard

Joyce Helton Hillard, age 58, of East Bernstadt, Kentucky passed away on Wednesday, December 30, 2020. She leaves behind her loving husband, Billy Ray Hillard; three children, Joyce Nicole Nantz, Rebecca Mae Nantz, Brian Albert Lyndon Nantz, all of East Bernstadt, KY; four siblings, Lorene Helton Sizemore, Elaine Helton Spade, Charlene Helton Youdell, Jennifer Helton Walker; one granddaughter, Mercedes Nicole Hays; several nieces and nephews, plus a host of other family and friends to mourn her passing. She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles Albert Helton and Ethel Napier Helton; and by her brother, James Floyd Helton. Joyce was a homemaker and a member of Philpot Chapel Baptist Church. She was a wonderful mother and wife, and a proud grandmother. She loved her entire family. Joyce was very artistic. She could look at something and see its potential. She loved to draw and make walking canes. She also enjoyed the outdoors. Funeral services for Joyce Helton Hillard will be held on Tuesday, January 5, 2021 at 2:30 p.m. in the chapel of House-Rawlings Funeral Home with Jeff Lewis officiating. Burial will follow at Murray Cemetery in East Bernstadt, Kentucky. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, January 5, 2021 beginning at 1:00 p.m. until the funeral hour also at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully requests that donations be made to the funeral home to help with funeral expenses. The family has entrusted House-Rawlings Funeral Home with the arrangements.
