Harrison (HR) May, age 82, of London, Kentucky passed away on Tuesday, August 2, 2022. He leaves behind three children, Daphne Hardesty of Danville, KY, Shonda LeMaster & husband John of London, KY, Jeff May & wife Jamie of London, KY; three siblings, Elmer May & wife Wendy of London, KY, G. C. May of Barbourville, KY, Nella Hacker of London, KY; three grandchildren, Sydney Nicholson, Lindsey Couch, Tiffany Couch; one great grandchild, Keegan Nicholson, plus a host of other family and friends to mourn his passing. He was preceded in death by his wife, Sheila Wagoner May; his parents, Tesco and Emma Mills May; and by one sibling, Yancy (DY) May. Harrison was retired having worked at Gambrel Toyota for over thirty years as a mechanic. He was a member of the Church in Jesus. He liked to squirrel hunt and was a big fan of UK basketball. Harrison loved his family, kids and grandkids very much. Funeral services for Harrison (HR) May will be held on Friday, August 5, 2022 beginning at 1:00 p.m. in the chapel of House-Rawlings Funeral Home with Gary May officiating. Burial will follow at Mt. Olivet Cemetery in London, Kentucky. The family will receive friends on Thursday, August 4, 2022 beginning at 6:00 p.m. also at the funeral home. The family has entrusted House-Rawlings Funeral Home with the arrangements.
