Gwenn Caroll Harris, age 70, of London, Kentucky passed away on Thursday, January 16, 2020 at the University of Kentucky Medical Center in Lexington, Kentucky. She leaves behind three children, Lee Harris of London, Lowell Harris of London, Susan Harris of Louisville; her son-in-law, John Wilson of Annville; her grandson, Quinton Wilson; her adopted family, Madonna Shepherd, Ace Jones, Emma Holmes, Ashley Jackson, plus a host of other family and friends to mourn her passing. She was preceded in death by her parents, Simuel K. Rush and Venna Burne Smith Rush; her daughter, Sarah Wilson; her brother, Ted K. Rush. Gwenn was of the Baptist faith. She was an artist, an amateur author, painter, among other activities, and was a member of the Feminist Artists of Kentucky. She also had a passion for reading and loved all types of books. A memorial service for Gwenn Caroll Harris will be held on Sunday, January 19, 2020 at 8:00 p.m. in the chapel of House-Rawlings Funeral Home. The family will receive friends on Sunday, January 19, 2020 beginning at 6:00 p.m. also at the funeral home. The family has entrusted House-Rawlings Funeral Home with the arrangements.
