Freda Philpot

December 21, 1948 - February 19, 2022

Freda Philpot, age 73, of London, Kentucky passed away on Saturday, February 19, 2022. She leaves behind four children, Lois Ann Fuston & husband Howard, Frank Bowling & wife Samantha, James Waylon Philpot & wife Miranda, Loretta Philpot, all of London, KY; five siblings, Roy Henson, Gilbert Henson, Gladys Bowling, Wade Henson, Glenn Henson; six grandchildren, Jacky Eugene Bowling, Nikki Lee Lovell, Latasha Rose Lovell, Howard Edward Fuston III & fiancée Anna Baker, Aria Grace Philpot, Kinsley Faith Philpot; six great grandchildren, Jacky Riley, Isabella Bowling, Zoei Lovell, Aubrei Lovell, Ethan Lizey, Briston Lizey, plus a host of other family and friends to mourn her passing. She was preceded in death by her husband, James Philpot; her parents Toleman and Ollie Smith Henson; one child, Cledith Ruth Sizemore; nine siblings, Viola Sizemore, Junior Henson, Hubert Henson, Willie Henson, J.L. Henson, Debbie Parker, Carolyn Sue Henson and infant twins. Freda was a homemaker and of the Christian faith. She loved her family dearly and she was the best mother anyone could ever ask for. She treated everyone the same, like family, and made no difference between in-laws and her own children. She was a mother to everyone who came through her door. She would work hard all day and come home and cook for her family. Freda always made sure her children were taken care of. Funeral services for Freda Philpot will be held on Sunday, February 27, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of House-Rawlings Funeral Home with Wayne House and Mark Bowling officiating. Burial will follow at New Salem Cemetery in London, Kentucky. The family will receive friends on Saturday, February 26, 2022 beginning at 6:00 p.m. also at the funeral home.
