Earl Boggs, age 86, of London, Kentucky passed away on Saturday, February 26, 2022. He leaves behind three children, Cora Elaine Jenkins & husband Eugene of Flat Lick, KY, Beverly Carol Smith & husband Roscoe of Somerset, KY, Wyona Lynn Sizemore & husband Duane of Corbin, KY; four siblings, Mary Hunley, Eula Walden, Evelyn Cornett, all of London, KY, and Ona Steele & husband Tony of Florida; twelve grandchildren, Kathy Mitchell, Burgandy Bogard, Brian Kilburn, Andy Smith, Hannah Smith, Elaina Baker, Anthony Smith, Steven Smith, Lyndie Gray, Robert Earl Smith, Seth Jenkins, Shayla Vaughn; twenty-six great grandchildren, plus a host of other family and friends to mourn his passing. He was preceded in death by his wife, Daphne Steele Boggs; his parents, Farmer and Linda Johnson Boggs; and by one sister, Martha Proffitt. Earl was a retired auto mechanic and a member of the Indian Creek Church of Christ where he worshipped and loved the Lord. He was quite a character, loved a good joke and was an avid Kentucky Wildcat fan. He loved to fish and hunt and did so up until a couple of years ago. He was a good Christian man who loved his family and lived for the grandkids and great grandkids. Truly we have been blessed with the best father, grandfather and great grandfather. Rest in peace Dad. We love you and will surely miss you. Funeral services for Earl Boggs will be held on Wednesday, March 2, 2022 at 3:00 p.m. in the chapel of House-Rawlings Funeral Home. Burial will follow at A. R. Dyche Memorial Park in London, Kentucky. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, March 1, 2022 beginning at 5:30 p.m. also at the funeral home.
