Connie Faye Brackett Vaughn, age 56, of London, Kentucky passed away on Thursday, October 17, 2024. She leaves behind her parents, Robert A. Huff & Martha Burchfield Jones; six children, Shasta Vaughn, Houston Vaughn & wife Amelia, Devin Rogers all of London, KY; Michael Burke & wife Amanda, CJ Burke, Johnathan Burke all of Keavy, KY; six siblings, Chuck Huff & wife Courtney, Alan Rogers, Shannon Jones, Jonathan Jones, Carla Huff all of London, KY, Donna Swartout of Georgia; one grandchild, Kaitlyn Brock of London, KY; her partner, Gary Lawson and a ex-husband and special friend, Paul David Vaughn plus a host of nieces, nephews and other family and friends to mourn her passing. She was preceded in death her father, James Brackett; step-father, Tommy Jones; one sister Kimberly Elaine Huff; two friends, Robin McWhorter & Lynette Gast. She dedicated over 20 years of service at Native Pride Bingo and one year at Corbin Hospital as a nurse’s assistant, where her compassion and hard work were deeply appreciated by all who knew her. Connie loved spending time at the beach, basking in the sun, and enjoying the simple pleasures of life. Her dogs were her constant companions, and she cherished every moment spent with her family and friends. Known for her boundless generosity, Connie had a heart full of love and was always ready to lend a helping hand to those in need. Her love for Jesus guided her life, and she was a proud member of Parkway Church of God. A caregiver by nature, Connie found joy in helping others, whether in her professional life or personal relationships. Her kindness and nurturing spirit left a lasting impact on everyone she encountered. After 56 years, Connie found her true love, Gary Lawson, with whom she shared many happy memories. Her warmth, love, and dedication to her loved ones will be remembered and cherished forever. A funeral service honoring Connie Faye Brackett Vaughn will be held on Monday, October 21, 2024 at 1:00 pm in the chapel of House-Rawlings Funeral Home with David Douglas & Robert Wyatt officiating. Interment will follow at the Wiggington Cemetery in London, KY. The family will receive friends on Monday, October 21, 2024 beginning at 11:00 am until the funeral hour also at the funeral home. The family has entrusted House-Rawlings Funeral Home with the arrangements. Serving as pallbearers will be: Houston Vaughn, CJ Burke, Johnathan Burke, Bryce Huff, Blake Huff and Michael Burke.
