Charlotte Simpson

Charlotte Simpson, age 72, of London, Kentucky passed away on Tuesday, May 3, 2022. She leaves behind her husband, John Simpson; four children, Johnnida Caldwell & husband Layne of Richmond, KY, and Mark Fannon, Rebecca Reams Williams & husband David “Bugs”; Michael Wayne Asher & fiancé Jodie Buckley, all of London, KY; a host of grandchildren and great grandchildren, plus many other friends and family to mourn her passing. She was preceded in death by her parents, Russell and Cora Woods Wooten; one sibling, Shirley Ann Miller; two grandchildren, Russell Douglas Reams, James Nathaniel Asher Charlotte was retired from Baptist Regional Hospital where she worked for 25 years, and she was currently employed at Plaza Drug of London. She enjoyed camping, traveling to bluegrass festivals and square dancing. Charlotte loved taking care of her family. She was loved by many, and to know her was to love her. She was of the Pentecostal faith. Funeral services for Charlotte Simpson will be held on Saturday, May 7, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of House-Rawlings Funeral Home with Davis Sizemore, Mike Hoskins and Tim Renner officiating. Burial will follow at Wooten Cemetery in London, Kentucky. The family will receive friends on Friday, May 6, 2022 beginning at 6:00 p.m. also at the funeral home. The family has entrusted House-Rawlings Funeral Home with the arrangements.
