Amy Lynn Thomas, age 43, of Keavy, Kentucky passed away on Tuesday, October 5, 2021. She leaves behind her husband, Michael Thomas; her son, Joey Taylor; her mom, Peggy Taylor; her brother, Willie Taylor (Samantha); her father-in-law, Norman Thomas (Donna); her mother-in-law, Louetta Calhoun (Mike); her sisters-in-law, Jennifer Perkins (Jamie), Sarah Thomas, plus a host of other family and friends to mourn her passing. She was preceded in death by her son, Joshua Ryan Taylor; and her dad, William Taylor. Amy loved to talk to people, and she never met a stranger. She loved to spend time with family and friends. She loved to make people smile. She was a mother hen, always protective of those she loved. She was a devoted wife, mother, sister, daughter and friend. Funeral services for Amy Lynn Thomas will be held on Sunday, October 10, 2021 at 8:00 p.m. in the chapel of House-Rawlings Funeral Home with Luke Day officiating. The family will receive friends on Sunday, October 10, 2021 beginning at 6:00 p.m. until the funeral hour also at the funeral home. A private burial will take place later at Taylor Cemetery in Keavy, Kentucky. The family has entrusted House-Rawlings Funeral Home with the arrangements.
