Tricia Parman Hardin

Tricia Parman Hardin, age 59, of London, Kentucky passed away on Wednesday, October 1, 2025. She leaves behind her loving husband, Michael Hardin; her son, Dustin Michael Hardin & Ryann Poerio of London, KY; her brother, Jason Russell Parman & wife Melinda of London, KY; one granddaughter, Kobe Russ Hardin on the way; her nieces and nephews, Madison Parman, Emma Parman, Cooper Parman, Hudson Hardin, Sam Hardin, Anna Hardin, Eric Calman, Andrew Calman, Kendra Calman; her longtime best friends, Marti Brown Jones, Tammy Scott, Paul & Lisa Mahan; plus a host of other family and friends to cherish her memory. She was preceded in death by her parents, Russell Edward Parman and Ruby Jean Foister Parman. Tricia was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend who leaves behind a legacy of love, service, and hospitality. A retired school teacher, Tricia devoted her life not only to education but also to caring for those around her. She had a heart that naturally looked for ways to meet the needs of others, always eager to lend a hand, carry a burden, or offer encouragement. Tricia found joy in family, traveling, gathering people together, and planning occasions that made everyone feel special. She was a gifted party planner and organizer, known for making holidays bright, decorating beautifully, and choosing thoughtful gifts that let you know how much you were loved. Her kitchen was always open, filled with the aromas of meals she joyfully prepared, and she had a way of making sure no one ever left hungry. She volunteered her time generously, especially at the food pantry on Wednesdays, where she touched many lives. Tricia was the kind of person who never hesitated to answer the phone, who was always ready to listen, and who could be counted on for comfort and wisdom. Her home and her heart were always open. In her quiet moments, she cherished the companionship of her beloved fur babies, Brylee, Wrango and Nala, whose presence brought her comfort and joy. Tricia’s life was a testimony to love in action—her care, her kindness, and her unwavering desire to make others feel seen, valued, and loved will be remembered by all who knew her. A funeral service honoring Tricia Parman Hardin will be held on Sunday, October 5, 2025 at 3:00 p.m. at First Presbyterian Church in London, Kentucky with Doug Yost and Brad Napier officiating. Interment will follow at Merrimac Cemetery in London, Kentucky. The family will receive friends on Sunday beginning at 1:00 p.m., also at the church. Serving as pallbearers are Cooper Parman, Dustin Hardin, Jason Parman, Paul Mahan, James Foister and Fred Hardin. Honorary pallbearers are Tom Hardin and David Hardin. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to First Presbyterian Church Food Pantry in London, Kentucky. The family has entrusted House-Rawlings Funeral Home with the arrangements.
