Toni King

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Toni King, of London, Kentucky, a beloved mother, grandmother, and cherished member of the community. Toni passed away peacefully on Thursday, March 7, 2024 at the age of 80. She leaves behind three children, Karen Smith & fiancé Robbie Hicks of Knoxville, TN, Bryan Moren & wife Sandy of East Bernstadt, KY, Jennifer Feltner & husband Todd of East Bernstadt, KY; two siblings, Bobbie Moore of Anthem, AZ, Berry Cupp & wife Laura of London, KY; a foster brother, Ellery Gayhart; six grandchildren, Jason Wells, Jeremy Smith, Chelsea Hunt & husband John, Trey Feltner & wife Hannah, Macy Feltner, Jacob King; six great grandchildren, Landon Wells, Jace Wells, Eleanor Hunt, Gracynn Smith, Lydia Hunt, Kylie Smith; plus a host of other family and friends to mourn her passing. She was preceded in death by her parents, Martin & Mae Sturgill Cupp; her twin sons, Timmy & Jimmy Moren; and by two sisters, Wanda Bruner, Juanita Cupp. Toni led a life filled with creativity, compassion, and devotion to her family and faith. She was known for her entrepreneurial spirit, having owned her own cake baking and decorating business, as well as contributing to the family furniture business. Her entrepreneurial journey didn't stop there; she also successfully ran her own restaurant business in Jackson County, KY, leaving a lasting impact on the local community. An incredibly talented artist, Toni found joy in expressing herself through various mediums. She had a passion for drawing, painting, sewing, and crafting, often transforming old quilts into beautiful works of art. Her love for vintage items was evident in her creations, each piece imbued with her unique touch and creativity. Above all, Toni was a devoted Christian who found solace and strength in her faith. She instilled these values in her children and grandchildren, leaving behind a legacy of love and faith. Her kindness knew no bounds, and she had a special fondness for children. During the summers, she could often be found at local parks, delighting children with her giant bubble-making skills, spreading joy wherever she went. One of Toni's cherished traditions was hosting gingerbread house-making parties for her grandchildren, great-nieces, nephews, and friends. Her generous spirit extended beyond her family, as she frequently gave away the beautiful items she crafted to those she cared about. Toni's memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew her. The family of Toni King will receive friends on Sunday, March 10, 2024 between the hours of 1:00 p.m. and 3:00 p.m. in the chapel of House-Rawlings Funeral Home. A private graveside service will be held later. The family has entrusted House-Rawlings Funeral Home with the arrangements.
