Tammy Holt Brewer, age 56, of London, Kentucky passed away on Saturday, November 16, 2024. She leaves behind her husband of 32 years, Bobby Junior Brewer; her mother, Ruth Shoupe Holt; two children, Bobby Joseph Brewer & wife Brianna and Jason Brewer, all of London, KY; two siblings, Jerry Wayne Holt II of London, KY, Damian Holt of Indiana; special aunts, Posie Conley and Bonnie Spitser; her bonus mom, Portia Marsee of Indiana; a special cousin, Patti Baker; her niece, Rebekah Taylor & husband Chez; her great niece, Harper Taylor; a special friend, Tonya Poindexter; plus a host of other family and friends to mourn her passing. She was preceded in death by her father, Jerry Holt; her son, Jeremy Brewer; her maternal grandparents, Ondie & Nellie Shoupe; paternal grandparents, Chester & Lillie Robinson Holt; and her cousins, Ginger Holt and Kay Wilson. Tammy was a true book lover with an impressive collection that reflected her curiosity and love for stories. She could often be found with a good book in one hand and her ever-present metal tumbler in the other. Her love for Victorian decor and architecture showcased her appreciation for timeless beauty and elegance. A lifelong fan of Prince, Tammy found delight in his music and performances, often filling her home with his unforgettable sounds. Her love of music was as vibrant as her personality, and her appreciation for creativity shone in all she did. Tammy shared her life with her beloved dog, Didders, who brought her immense joy and companionship. She also adored her family and was their unwavering protector, willing to fight fiercely for those she loved. Tammy’s love, strength, and passion will live on in the hearts of her family, friends, and all who were fortunate to know her. She will be deeply missed but lovingly remembered. The family of Tammy Holt Brewer will receive friends on Thursday, November 21, 2024 beginning at 6:00 p.m., followed by a funeral service at 7:00 p.m. in the chapel of House-Rawlings Funeral Home with Brian Carpenter officiating. Following the service, Tammy’s wishes for cremation will be honored.
