Sandra Lee Cornett Beckner, age79, of Burkesville, Kentucky passed away on Friday, December 20, 2024. She leaves behind her husband of 61 years, Norman Earl Beckner; three children, Teresa Lynn Beckner of Burkesville, KY, Gerald Ray Beckner of Burkesville, KY, Daniel Verlin Beckner & wife Diana of London, KY; two siblings, Darryl Wayne Cornett & wife Wanda, Vanita Wynema Earley & husband Mike, all of London, KY; four grandchildren, Danielle Beckner House, Brandon Ball, Daniel Beckner, Derek Beckner; one great grandson, Tallon Kade House; plus a host of other family and friends to mourn her passing. She was preceded in death by her parents, Everett Levi & Magdalene Taylor Cornett; her grandson, Bradley Dean Ball; and by two sisters, Geyneal Cornett, Lucille Cornett. Sandra’s life was a beautiful testament to love, creativity, and devotion. She found joy in sewing, quilting, and embroidery, crafting pieces that brought warmth and beauty into the lives of those she cherished. Her passion for gardening and flowers brightened not only her home but also the hearts of everyone who visited. With a keen eye for interior decorating, she transformed spaces into welcoming sanctuaries filled with care and thoughtfulness. Above all, Sandra’s greatest joy was her family. She dedicated her life to their well-being, nurturing them with boundless love and support. Her selflessness and gentle spirit will forever remain an inspiration to those who knew her. Sandra was a member of Mt. Zion Church of Christ. Her love and warmth will forever be missed but will live on in the hearts of her family and friends. A funeral service honoring Sandra Lee Cornett Beckner will be held on Tuesday, December 24, 2024 at 1:00 p.m. in the chapel of House-Rawlings Funeral Home with Stanley Proffitt and Caleb Conley officiating. Burial will follow at Beckner Cemetery in London, Kentucky. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, December 24, 2024 beginning at 12:00 p.m. until the service hour, also at the funeral home. The pallbearers will be Derek Beckner, Daniel Beckner, Brandon Ball, Eric Beckner, Travis Beckner and Jordan House. David Beckner is an honorary pallbearer. The family has entrusted House-Rawlings Funeral Home with the arrangements.
