Margie Sue Ann (Hart) Bailey

Margie Sue Ann (Hart) Bailey of Keavy, Kentucky died Friday, October 14, 2022. She was born October 18, 1941 to Armenia Mae Hart and Joe Thomas Hart (both deceased). She was preceded in death by her husband Bob Bailey, sister Peggy Jo Black, and daughters Penny (Bailey) Lopez and Baby Girl Bailey, sons Billy and Tommy Bailey, grandson William Zachary Barnes-Bailey and granddaughter Micaela Bailey. She is survived by her brother Johnny Bill Hart, and her children and grandchildren: Dennis Wayne Bailey (Son) and wife Melisa and their children; Thomas McNeil (wife Jennifer) Bobby Gene Bailey (Son) and wife Robin and their children: Brandi, Benjamin and Bradley; Rita Bailey (daughter) and husband Stephen; Jeffrey Lynn Bailey (Son) and wife Karen and their children: Amanda, Clayton, Racheal and Lillian (husband Tyler Christie) Danny Ray Bailey (Son); Tammy Yvonne Bailey-Hayes (daughter) and children: Caleb, Anna, Michael and Emily; Peggy Sue (Bailey) Salyers (daughter) and husband Shiloh and their children – Gabriel and Finnian; Great-Grandchildren: Ava, Anya, Ronin, Xander, Morgan, Jackson, Everly, Jaxon, Kaitlyn, Malachi, Ashlyn, Haley Margie Bailey was married to Bob Bailey for 53 years, until his death in 2011. She was one of Jehovah’s Witnesses from November 1974 until her death. She will be missed by all of her fleshly family as well as her great Spiritual Family. Those who knew her are from all over the country. She was associated with Congregations of Jehovah’s Witnesses in Hamilton, OH; Norwood, OH; Pleasant Ridge, OH; London, KY; Corbin, KY; Barbourville, KY and Cumberland Gap, TN. Some of those who knew her did so for almost 50 years. Her faith in the promises of her Creator was great. She always looked forward to the time when all tears, pain and suffering would be gone. She looked forward to being reunited with her husband and to welcoming back the children she lost. Her faith never wavered. And she loved sharing her Bible based hope with others. Margie also enjoyed the beauty of nature. She loved fall and winter, as can be seen in the paintings she did. She was also a flower lover, always planting them around whatever home she lived in. She was also a very hard worker. If she was not working around the house on some project for herself, she was working on a project for someone else. She loved doing things for others. She loved cooking for large groups, and she was wonderful at it. Her love impacted many people. Her willing spirit and her desire to help others will be missed. All those who knew her loved her. While she is now at rest, those who truly knew her look forward to seeing her again in God’s new world of Righteousness and Peace. Her reward is Secure! Visitation for friends will be held at 12:00 to 2:00 pm (EST). Funeral services will be at 2:00 pm on Friday Oct. 21, 2022 at House-Rawlings Funeral Home in London, KY. Burial will follow at Locust Grove Cemetery in Keavy KY. The family has entrusted House-Rawlings Funeral Home with the arrangements.
