Kenneth Konitzer

Kenneth Konitzer, age 77, of London, Kentucky passed away on Tuesday, June 30, 2026. He leaves behind his loving wife of 53 years, Joyce Konitzer; three children, Rick Brock of Lily, KY, Melinda Brock of London, KY, Chance Konitzer & wife Melissa of London, KY; two sisters, Donna Kennedy of London, KY, Roxanne Walls of London, KY; five grandchildren, four great grandchildren; plus a host of friends and acquaintances to cherish his memory. He was preceded in death by his parents, Eddie & Pauline Konitzer. Kenneth lived a life marked by faith, service, hard work, and a deep love for his family and friends. He faithfully served his country as a proud veteran of the United States Air Force, carrying with him the values of integrity, dedication, and honor throughout his life. For twenty-four years, Kenneth was an active member of the Civil Air Patrol, where he generously gave his time and talents in service to others. His commitment to his community was evident not only through his volunteerism but also through the successful locksmith business he built through years of honest work and dependable service. Many came to know Kenneth not only for his skill but for his willingness to help whenever he was needed. A man of unwavering faith, Kenneth was a devoted member of East Pittsburgh Baptist Church. He cherished his church family and found great joy in worship, fellowship, and serving alongside those who shared his love for the Lord. Away from work, Kenneth embraced life's adventures. He found freedom on the open road, riding his motorcycles and making countless two-wheeled memories with family and friends. Whether traveling scenic highways, casting a fishing line into a quiet stream, or spending time hunting in the outdoors, he appreciated God's creation and the peace it offered. More than any accomplishment or hobby, Kenneth treasured the people he loved. Family vacations, holiday gatherings, and simple moments spent together were among his greatest joys. He leaves behind a legacy of faith, kindness, loyalty, and countless cherished memories that will continue to live on in the hearts of those who knew him. Though his earthly journey has come to an end, Kenneth's family finds comfort in the promises of God's Word and the assurance that he is now at peace in the presence of his Savior. A memorial service honoring Kenneth Kontizer will be held on Tuesday, July 7, 2026 at 5:00 p.m. in the chapel of House-Rawlings Funeral Home. The family will receive friends beginning at 2:00 p.m. until the service hour, also at the funeral home.
