Information on Funerals and COVID-19

Updated statement regarding the Covid-19 Pandemic

Due to the coronavirus pandemic, for the past few months Kentucky state guidelines have limited funerals and visitations to no more than 10 attendees.  In accordance with the new state guidelines that went into effect on May 20, 2020, we can now allow more than 10 attendees.  The new guideline states that we must limit the number of attendees to 33% of our building’s capacity.  We believe this should accommodate most of the family and closest of friends.

For the safety of the public and our staff, we encourage attendees to wear face masks, use the hand sanitizing stations provided in the building and maintain 6 feet of social distancing.  We will still offer live streaming of services and drive-through visitation if requested by the family.  While we would love to help support and celebrate with everyone, if you are an individual at high risk, please abstain from attending.  In addition, if you are sick or having any symptoms, please do not attend.  You may leave a comment for the family on our website at or on our Facebook page.  You may also call the funeral home and leave your name and we will pass along your condolences to the family.

Please note that our lounges and communal areas will continue to be closed and no communal food or beverages will be allowed.

House-Rawlings Funeral Home is committed to serving families in their time of need while following safety guidelines as determined by state authorities.
